A CELEBRATION OF LIFE

DEBRA FERRUA 1957-2003
Debra Lynn Ferrua (1957–2003)
Debra Lynn Ferrua passed away in 2003 at the age of 46. She was a devoted mother, a loving presence to everyone around her, and truly a hostess with the mostest.
Debra was an incredibly hardworking woman who built a respected career at San Quentin State Prison, earning promotions through dedication and heart. Before her passing, she proudly served as the main supervisor of the Records Department, a role she took seriously and excelled in.
Born to be a mom, Debra loved her children with her whole heart. She endured the unimaginable loss of her daughter Misty, yet continued to pour love into her son Michael, her daughter Marie, and her stepchildren Mitchell, Nick, and Lindsay, always making them feel like her own.
Debra was a ray of sunshine — beautiful inside and out. She brought people together, fed everyone who walked through her door, and made every gathering feel like home. She loved cooking shows, hosting holidays, dancing on tables to “Love Shack,” and being the life of every party. Confident, joyful, and endlessly caring, Debra lived to entertain, love, and share her beautiful soul.
She is deeply missed and forever cherished.
